A SPECIAL SEWING PROJECT

Last week, I got to sew a special project for my granddaughter, Emily. I attached her name, letter "H", and year "13" on her school jacket.

PROJECT FINISHED

Here is a picture of the entire quilt. I have it hemmed and returned to church where it is kept until used in a raffle.

ME AND MY PROJECT

I fell a couple of days ago and got a black eye and bruised knee. Right now I can't do some of the things I normally would, so I am at home hemming the quilt that our church ladies completed recently.

MY AFTERNOON VISITOR

This is my grandson, Adam, with me this afternoon. He is recovering from a fever yesterday. His Mom teaches 6th grade math at his grade school.

HALLOWEEN

We joined friends at a dance at the American Legion on Friday evening. About ten couples wore costumes--no masks or disguises. Most of the ladies dressed as flappers. The band was our favorite group, actually, the same guys who played for our 50th last year. It was a fun evening. On Saturday evening, we went costumed to Ashland.
