The shawl for my sister-in-law is now up to 155 stitches across the row. That means I have about 20 more long rows to do. When I got bored with the intensity of that project, I started these fingerless mitts from a pattern I got on the Internet. They are a fun distraction with an interesting cable pattern. I even learned to knit stitches onto waste yarn for the thumb. I am making them with worsted weight I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby using No. 6 and No. 8 double pointed needles. They are fun--so quick and easy.
