GRANDDAUGHTER'S PROJECT NO. 1

Last week, Granddaughter #2 spent a day with me.  She transformed a mis-matched bath towel into a "spa wrap" to take to college.  She saw the idea on Pinterest.  She wanted buttons instead of Velcro which tends to snag.  She made a handy pocket and trimmed it and the front edge with pleated fabric.  I made the buttonholes which were a challenge because of the really thick towel.  Yesterday she came out and sewed on the buttons and added straps because it is quite heavy.
