FUN DAY AT THE FOX

Ed and I were happy to be joined by our daughters on a motorcoach trip to see The Lion King at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis.  We were amazed at the "inventive" costumes.  Lunch was at the Fountain on Locust.  This trip was sponsored by a local bank.  Here is a link for a short video of the production.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pgZtzDj_7o&feature=player_embedded

A FUN DAY

Today, Leap Day, I went with a local tour company on a motorcoach trip to The New Theatre in Overland Park Kansas. At this dinner theatre, we saw Pump Boys and Dinettes. The star of this production was Gregory Harrison from TV's Trapper John M.D. This was a fun musical with lots of toe-tapping music. Of course, the kitchen prepared a delicious lunch. Their signature dish is Carrot Mousse--you either love it or hate it!
